我是台師大附中退休的地理老師，教授地理課程近40年，2019退休，現在年近70。
我的大學時期，電腦剛起步。1985年正式擔任中學教師，從沒有影印機，刻鋼板複寫的時代開始，1997民間版教課書開放，參與編寫教課書，課餘參加鄉誌地理篇編寫與地理實察後，才開始學習使用notbook編輯資料。2006年參與教育部資訊融入教材計畫，因為這個背景，我就沒有離開過電腦。
但真正進入地理QGIS的時期，已是退休以後。網路的時代，有非常多的訊息和課程分享，退休可專注學習，終於從理解到使用，懂得地理的哲學和本質與現今社會的關聯，學習了許多多媒體的應用。
